Green Garden Tip of the Week

If you have a broken terra cotta pot, save the pieces and re-use them: Take a few small broken pieces (1-2" large) and place them so that they loosely cover the drain hole in the bottom of any new pot that you are planting. This will prevent soil from draining out the bottom of the pot when you water, and promote good drainage.
